The company’s other trading name is bitpace (PC42 profile), a cryptocurrency payment gateway for online merchants.

Koinal is a crypto payment processor that allows registered customers to buy cryptocurrencies with credit and debit cards.

Koinal, like Bits of Gold (profile) and Simplex (profile), is part of the ecosystem surrounding crypto trading platform StormGain (www.stormgain.com) and handles cryptocurrency credit card payments for StornGain clients. The acquired cryptocurrencies can then be used for trading on StormGrain.

SG Veteris was founded by well-known FinTech entrepreneur Ozan Ozerk and transferred to Ahmet Cemal Dedeoglu in 2018. Ozan Ozerk and his other companies are also based there. According to insiders, the individuals and companies are still closely connected, i.e., related entities.
