Nuri (previously BitWalla) is a blockchain banking service headquartered in Berlin, founded in 2015 by Jörg von Minckwitz, Jan Goslicki and Benjamin P. Jones.
Nuri provides you with the ability to manage Euro and Bitcoin deposits through a single account. Nuri account allows you to save, withdraw and automatically convert fiat currencies into Bitcoin through their Bitcoin investment or savings account. Nuri offers a German IBAN, SEPA transfers, international payment services and a Visa debit card.

One of the main Partners of Nuris is Solarisbank. As a result of Bitwala Solarisbank partnership, you get a full-fledged German bank account that works like a normal account.
In May 2021, the company changed its name from Bitwala to Nuri, thereby also expanding its line of business increasingly in the direction of neobanking.
Up to September 2021, Nuri had received more positive than negative reviews on Trustpilot, where it was rated 3.4/5 stars by over 1400 customers, and 3.4 stars by over 3000 customers on the Google Play Store.
In early August 2022, the company officially filed for bankruptcy and leaving their 500,000 clients clueless about their funds.
In November 2022 it was officially announced that Nuri is closing its business forever, after a failed investor quest.
Customers still have until december to easily raise their funds.
