Eversend is an all-in-one payments platform, founded by Emma Sánchez Andrade Smith (Linkedin) and Stone Atwine (Linkedin).

It is a multi-currency electronic wallet that allows you to exchange, spend and send money at the best possible rates, between USD, EUR, GBP, NGN, UGX, GHS, KES and RWF..

Their application provides a digital payment gateway that uses blockchain technology to facilitate electronic money transfers, allowing customers to send money to bank accounts and mobile payments while saving a significant amount of fees and foreign exchange.

Eversend is currently available through mobile apps in Uganda, Kenya and Ghana.

In July 2022, Eversend was the victim of a hacking attempt in which fraudsters attempted to log into customers’ accounts, resulting in those customers receiving a notification email, which in some cases led to a poor customer rating for the company.

By July 2022, Eversend stopped their virtual dollar cards after, Union54 was hit by a wave of chargeback fraud.
