On Twitter, the company already stated that they are being attacked by scammers posing as their customer service to get important login data.
In August 2022, Chipper Cash was accused by the Kenyan Central Bank of operating illegally in the East African country, claiming that the company does not have a license to operate. The company has not commented on the government’s allegations.
In September 2022 the company has received authorization from the Bank of Ghana (BoG) to provide remittance services from the United States of America to the country.
Due to a scammer issue the company is facing, we put Chipper Cash on our “Orange Compliance” list.
